Sr. Data Scientist
As a Senior Data Scientist, you will work at the direction of Principal Data Scientists to collect, organize, and prepare data for use in an analytics model, and develop the model to achieve desired outcomes. The candidate must be eligible to work in Canada.
Responsibilities (not limited to):
- Work with large data sets including exploratory analysis, transformations, interacting with production systems
- Apply appropriate techniques to develop predictive and prescriptive statistical models
- Utilize leading open source AI software (including TensorFlow, Python, R)
- Work in cloud environment (e.g. AWS, Azure, GCP)
- Develop proof of concepts, and industrialize solutions for production environment
- Automate AI development where needed for scalability and robustness
Education
- PhD in Computer Science / Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning/Deep Learning
- Certifications – GCP/Azure/AWS preferred
- Banking experience – Risk, Fraud and Compliance is added advantage

- Experience with distributed computing language (e.g. Hive / Hadoop/ Spark) & cloud technologies
- Experience with programming languages (e.g. SQL, Python, R, SAS) and machine learning /deep learning algorithms/packages (e.g. XGBoost, H2O, SparkML).
- Data driven decision making
- Excellent verbal & written communication skills
Education

Lead Software Engineer
As a Lead Software Engineer, you will lead a small team focused on creating Artificial Intelligence (AI)/Machine Learning (ML) solutions.The team will include AI/ML engineers and data scientists. The ideal candidate is passionate about technology and applying it to solve real world problems by leveraging advanced technologies; such as natural language processing, machine learning and deep learning.
Responsibilities (not limited to):
- Guide and mentor software engineers and data scientists as well as offshore team based out of Hyderabad to support the development of product proof of concepts and other applications to demonstrate the application of AI/ML capabilities in solving customer problems.
- Guide research, experiment and rapidly build prototypes using commercial, Open Source and proprietary solutions for machine learning, deep learning and NLP including an assessment of production suitability.
- Experience with distributed computing language (e.g. Hive / Hadoop/ Spark) & cloud technologies.

- Engage as a key member of the advanced technology to support the transition of prototypes and POCs to production.
- Experience with machine learning, deep learning frameworks; such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, etc.

- Experience with Continuous Integration/Deployment, automated testing and Tools (i.e. Jenkins, )
- Experience with Big Data (Hadoop, Spark/PySpark/SparkSQL, Kafka, etc.)
- Hands on experience applying NLP, ML and DL open source libraries; such as OpenNLP, spaCy, NLTK, Keras, MXNet, scikit-learn and related technologies.
